Australian SAA Certification

Standards Australia International Limited (SAA) is Australia'sonly Standardscertification body. All electrical products are required to have a Safety Certification (SAA). Inspection institutions through the destructive test of electrical appliances, check the safety and reliability of electrical appliances, such as in the transformer, need to withstand 3000V voltage, check the safety performance of electrical appliances.Check the electrical structure of the power supply to see if there is any leakage.Assess the mechanical hazards of electrical 

appliances to see if there are hidden dangers, etc.

At present, there are two ways to apply for SAA certification in China. One is to transfer through CB test report. If there is no CB test report, it can also be applied directly.

The Australian Standard begins with AS and the Australia-New Zealand Joint Standard begins with AS/NZS.The standards of Australia and New Zealand are basically the same as those of IEC, while there are some national differences.Australia and New Zealand promote a common standard and mutual recognition of certification, so that products can be sold in another country after being certified in one.Australian safety certification covers 6 continents in Australia.

Send samples to test

Provide product documentation (manual, PCB schematic diagram, key component list and corresponding certificates)

Submit the report and data to the issuing body for certification

Issuance agency audit documents after the issuance of SAA certification mark

Australian RCM Certificate

Regulatory Compliance Mark (RCM, Regulatory the Compliance Mark) is a registered Mark, indicates that the supplier statement products conform to the Australian states and New Zealand the safety of the electrical safety laws/regulations and other requirements, as well as in Australia "radio communications act" and "radio communications act" regulation of New Zealand emc requirements.
The RCM mark can only be used if the product meets the requirements of both the Electrical Safety Code and the EMC Code.
 
The RCM mark is owned by the Federal Government, and both the Electrical Safety Statutory Authority and the EMC Statutory Authority accept the RCM mark as a supplier declaration of conformity.
As long as the supplier is approved to use the RCM mark in any state, it can be accepted by the statutory regulatory authorities in other states, thus achieving a state approval.

Application process:

1. Provide a C-Tick certificate

2. Provide SAA certificate

3. Offer to hold Australian Enterprise (ABN) or New Zealand Inland Revenue (IRD)

4. Submit TCF documents to Australian institution for registration
